The VISKIO learning design will provide (in a digital format that contains, videos, illustrations, as well as short texts) explanation of the concept of the visible skills idea and implementation. It will serve as an introduction to the approach behind the visible skills portfolio, speaking to the benefits to be derived by specific user groups in showcasing competences and skills from non-formal and informal learning settings.

The VISKIO Challenge Catalogue will provide example challenges to inspire learners, teachers and facilitators to set up their own challenge for learning and to help users get right into the content offered by the VISKIO Portal. The challenges contained in the catalogue will demonstrate how challenge-based, self-directed learning can be taken up in non-formal and informal settings.
The VISKIO Handbook and Users Guide will explain the nuts and bolts of the VISKI Education and the VISKIO Portal. Contents will include all the technical know-how to interact with the VISKIO Portal and more in-depth descriptions of what VISKIO offers each to the specific target user groups. Placing special focus on how to showcase competences and skills online, the VISKIO handbook includes stand-alone short learning materials on digital skills for usage by higher-education institutions and learners. Also, the 21st Century Skills that are defined and explained. Therefore, the Handbook and Users Guide, while meeting all user needs, will be thorough in detailing the ins and outs for these two particular user groups. Getting this part of the portal right will support and encourage a strong connection to other stakeholders.

Finally, it is important to point out that the VISKIO Starter Kit, while supporting the VISKIO Portal, will also be an educational resource in and of itself. The foundation of the concept is rooted in promoting entrepreneurial thinking and digital implementation. By becoming familiar with the learning design and the format of the challenges, educators will be inspired to use the content and engagement opportunities presented by the VISKIO Portal in their learning environments or simply take their inspiration and information and adapt it to their classroom needs. The VISKI Education Project will be designed to strengthen and support digital and transversal skills through project-based learning. All content available via the VISKIO Portal will be open-education resources (OER).
